New Oak
Flooring

We produce our own Oak flooring in our mill. Most of the time we buy mainly French oak from mills with an FSC cerificate, or if customers specify English oak we can also supply this for them. It is all kiln dried to 10-12% moisture content.

Reclaimed
Flooring

Large stock of relaimed pine flooring stored undercover. We cut reclaimed pine beams in our sawmill, to produce high quality tongue and groove (or square-edged) floorboards - finished ready for the customer to lay.

New Oak Flooring

We produce our own Oak flooring in our mill. Most of the time we buy mainly French oak from mills with an FSC cerificate, or if customers specify English oak we can also supply this for them. It is all kiln dried to 10 - 12% moisture content

  • Natural Oak Flooring - This can be supplied in either character grade for a more traditional look or in prime grade for a more contemporary finish. We supply the boards in 2 different widths, 6 and 8 inches, and 20mm thick. We can sand them in our workshop so the labour time and cost is reduced when fitting the floor
  • Fired Oak Flooring - This is the same as above but finished with a burnt surface to give an aged and distressed look
  • Traditional Oak Flooring - This is another one of our specialist new oak floors. If you look carefully at the pictures you will notice the saw marks that have been left on the boards on purpose to give the floor the look of reclaimed oak which often has these characteristics. The floor can be supplied either in natural oak or in our own fired oak. This effect also can be done with our reclaimed pine. Boards can be supplied up to 8 inches wide with a tongue and groove. This floor can be supplied pre-finished

Reclaimed Flooring

  • Original 10-inch wide patinated Victorian antique yellow pine boards hand sanded - These boards are circa 1875, reclaimed from a cotton mill in the north of England. They can be sanded further to make them lighter in colour, should clients request this.
Antique boards of this width are very rare. We have just bought approximately 10,000 sq. yards and because they are all from the same job, there is minimal colour variation between boards. We can pre-finish them with Blanchon wood floor environment hard wax oil. In our opinion this is the best finsh for them as it hardly changes the natural colour at all
  • Reclaimed Yellow Pine Flooring - Massive stocks of reclaimed pine flooring. We cut up and machine old beams in our mill to produce high quality reclaimed pine boards. These are tongue and grooved, if customers request, or square edged. The boards can also be sanded in our workshop and if customers really want to take the time and labour out of fitting we can either wax or oil them so they are completly pre-finished
  • Reclaimed Pitch Pine Flooring - This is genuine reclaimed Pitch Pine not new Honduras Pitch Pine. We machine this out of antique beams and can supply widths up to 15 inches and long lengths. This is a very high quality and rare floorboard
  • Reclaimed Oak Flooring - These boards are very old and rustic. We cut the edges square so they fit together again and sort them out into different widths. Finally we hand sand them so as not to take the natural colour from them. This means that some of the boards my vary slightly in thickness. They must be layed by a professional joiner so as to avoid problems after purchase
Also if you need us to match floorboards for repair work we can manufacture them to your size in our mill
