After much research, trial and error we have perfected the very traditional and time proved methods of really aging our wide oak floorboards to produce a less expensive and easier to fit option than reclaimed oak.
All the work is done by us,we like to do it this way as it gives a totally unique look to every single batch of flooring we make.Also we like to do our bit for the economy by producing things ourself,therefore employing local people, rather than taking the mass produced options being imported in from all over the world.We like the idea of being a small traditional company manufacturing our own goods using our years of experience and know how to produce high quality bespoke items.
You can choose from our different textures,smooth,scraped and deep brushed
Also whether you want knots and cracks either filled or left open
These boards can be supplied up to 4m long and in widths up to 14inches.The best way and the best looking option is to go for random widths with approx 2 inch difference between all the widths, so 4 inch,6 inch ,8 inch and so on.Its all down to your own preference.All the joints are traditional half lap if you want boards over 8 inches,or tongue and grooved if you want boards up to 8 inches wide.All the joints are also distressed by hand so every single joint is different.
So its dead easy
1) choose your texture
2) choose you colour
3) decide on whether you want knots and crackes filled or left open
4) choose if you want long lengths
5) decide on the width of board you require.
Finally,order your sample of the floorboards you have personally chosen all the details for.
